Nimens-Espegard Apartments
Nimens-Espegard Apartments provide affordable, quality housing in the Crookston community. The apartments are conveniently located in the north end of town, near the high school and the University of Minnesota Crookston campus. The complex consists of three buildings, one building of 49 senior apartments, and two buildings of 24 general occupancy apartments. Rental assistance based on adjusted annual income is available to qualifying individuals. Certain income restrictions apply. Nimens-Espegard Apartments are managed by Greater Minnesota Management and have on-site staff for maintenance and office manager.

The apartments offer one and two bedroom options. Appliances included in each apartment are stove, refrigerator, air conditioner and water heater. The apartments have electric heat with individual room thermostats. Utilities provided include water, sewer and garbage. Other features provided include mini-blinds, centrally located laundry rooms and designated parking spots with automobile plug-ins. All apartment buildings offer secured entrances with a call system and are handicapped accessible.

In addition to the above features, the senior building provides specialized amenities which include; a newly remodeled Community Room with fireplace, large screen television and kitchen, public restrooms, elevator, beauty shop, public transportation as well as assisted living and delivered meal options.
